Global Fresh's raisin farm is located in Mildura, a major farming town in the northwestern state of Victoria, Australia, 660 kilometers from Melbourne. The 600-acre farm grows mainly Creason, Sweet Earth and Australian Beauty Finger varieties, which are mainly exported to China and Southeast Asia. Due to the unique geographical characteristics of Australia, there is a big temperature difference between day and night, which is the best condition for the growth of raisins and the coloring of sugar. The bigger the temperature difference is, the bigger and sweeter the raisins will be. In addition to our own farms, we also work with small and medium-sized farms in Mildura. Unlike large-scale cultivation, the raisin seedlings are cultivated in small, family-owned farms and are passed down from generation to generation, from the time they are cultivated to the time they start mass-producing raisins two years later. The family farming model also indirectly guarantees the high quality of the grapes, and we are focusing on promoting our products to densely populated second and third tier cities in China.
